1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing stcy.com or any of its subdomains (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.
2. What STCY Is
STCY publishes original commentary, summaries, and practical takeaways inspired by books and ideas found worldwide ("Book Breakdowns" and "World Tips"), alongside a small suite of companion apps. Content reflects our own interpretation and condensation of ideas — it is not a replacement for reading the original works, and quoted material is limited to short excerpts used for commentary and illustration under fair-use principles.
3. Content & Intellectual Property
All original writing, design, and branding on the Site is owned by STCY unless otherwise noted. You may share links to our articles and quote short excerpts with attribution and a link back to the source page. You may not republish full articles, scrape content for redistribution, or use our branding without permission.
References to third-party books remain the property of their respective authors and publishers. If you are a rights holder and believe a Book Breakdown misrepresents or improperly excerpts your work, contact us at hello@stcy.com with the article link and we will review and respond within 5 business days.
4. No Professional Advice
Content on STCY — including Book Breakdowns and World Tips related to health, money, productivity, or relationships — is for general informational purposes only. It is not financial, medical, legal, or psychological advice. Always consult a qualified professional before making decisions based on something you read here.
5. Companion Apps
Tools under our subdomains (tips.stcy.com, notes.stcy.com, habits.stcy.com, and any future apps) are provided "as is." Features may change, and an app marked "in build" may not yet be available. We aim for reliability but don't guarantee uninterrupted access.
6. Advertising
The Site may display third-party advertisements, including through Google AdSense. We don't control the content of individual ads and aren't responsible for products or services advertised by third parties. See our Privacy Policy for details on ad-related cookies.
